Filled up with the wrong fuel in your car?

If you have filled your car with the wrong fuel, we can help! We can visit you onsite and drain the wrong fuel from your tank.

What should I do if I've filled up the wrong fuel in my car?

When the unfortunate mistake of putting the wrong fuel in your car has occurred, do not start the vehicle and if possible do not even put your keys in the ignition as on some cars this can pump petrol through the diesel fuel system. But if you have started or run the vehicle do not worry as we can fix any vehicle that has been run or not with the wrong fuel in it.

Give us a call and speak with our friendly staff who will be happy to advise you and arrange to come out and drain the fuel from your vehicle and replenish the system enabling you to drive away usually within an hour, night or day, 24-7.

What NOT to do if you've filled your car with the wrong fuel

Do not start the engine, you could cause expensive damage to the fuel pipes, seals and of course the engine.

Your diesel car is a very sophisticated piece of engineering and running your diesel vehicle with petrol in the system can cause a lot of damage to the pumping system and in some circumstances can result in the whole fuel system needing to be replaced and can cost in excess of £5000. That's why it is important for you to call us straight away to minimise any potential damage to the engine.
